Competing Again in Competition Law

In August, we relaunched our competition law practice. Led by Eszter Fodor, who brings nearly 15 years of experience gained at a multinational retail chain and an international law firm, with extensive expertise in both competition and consumer protection law. Eszter’s perspective is further enriched by her professional background at the Hungarian Competition Authority, where she worked for almost a year and a half, first as an investigator and later as a head of department.

Our competition law team goes beyond handling classical competition matters - such as merger control, cartels, and abuse of dominance - and will also support clients across all consumer protection and communication areas. This includes assistance with drafting advertising messages - whether price communication, comparative advertising, market leadership claims, prize promotions, or even product packaging - and representation before the authorities in related proceedings.

Strengthening our competition law practice is another step toward being recognized by our partners as a full-scope law firm, covering all segments of economic life.
