New Partner at Jalsovszky
As of January 1, Péter Barta will continue his career with the firm as a partner. In his new role, Péter will lead the firm’s tax litigation and white-collar crime team while continuing to actively manage tax advisory matters related to indirect taxes.
“Péter’s journey to partnership is one of the finest examples within our firm and serves as an inspiration for today’s younger colleagues,” said managing partner Pál Jalsovszky when commenting on the milestone. “Péter joined us 12 years ago as a trainee lawyer. Since then, through hard work and determination, he has climbed every rung of the ladder, become a key professional figure at the firm, and built very strong client relationships. It is particularly commendable that throughout all this, Péter has never lost the human approach and humility for which he is so highly regarded within the firm.”
“I see this new role primarily not as a title, but as a responsibility: responsibility for my immediate team, with whom I work side by side every day, as well as responsibility for the long-term success and values of Jalsovszky, a team I have been part of for more than a decade. It is especially important to me that we continue to work in a professional and human environment that, alongside high-quality legal work, is built on cooperation, trust, and mutual respect,” added Péter Barta.
