Our office became the Hungarian correspondent of IBFD
The International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) a Netherlands-based, non-profit organisation, is an indispensable player of the international tax information flow: it collects and processes tax information from all over the world and distributes such information through different channels. The publications of IFBD can be found on the desk of all experts in international taxation.
From 2019 our office is privileged to become the Hungarian correspondent of IBF and to provide Hungarian tax news to the organisation. While this position truly highlights our role in the Hungarian tax community, it also implies a responsibility, since from now on international tax experts will receive a glimpse on the Hungarian tax developments through our eyes.
Our firm has recently joined two international legal networks.
From January, 2019 our litigtaion team will operate as a seperate practice group. When forming this practice we relied on the routine and expertise gained through our market-leading tax litigation practice as well as on the experience and knowledge we have acquired in civil lawsuits conducted in the previous year.
Recently, our firm has been awarded a rather special, yet truly honourable recognition.
Community, sport, active relaxation – these were the defining themes of our office sports weekend. This year, it was down to Lake Balaton, where one of our biggest challenges was simply staying upright on our stand-up paddle boards. Not as easy as it looks! But all four of us falling into the water at once was certainly an experience to remember!
We enjoyed the activity, and recommend it to anyone that fancies having fun and literally “chilling out” in a natural setting!
